Job summary

Spring Northumberland Heath is hiring an Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) to deliver high‑quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You’ll support learning through play, observe and document progress, and work within a warm, family‑focused setting in Erith.

The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification, a passion for ongoing learning, and a commitment to safeguarding and collaborative teamwork to achieve excellent outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 early years and childcare qualification (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• A passion for continuous learning and growth.
• Understanding of children's development needs (0 to 5 years).
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Support children's learning, development and well‑being through play.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and the team.
• Observe, assess and contribute to children's learning journeys.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and caring environment.
• Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.

Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)

Location: Erith

Salary: £26,600 - £27,299 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Contract/Hours: Permanent /Full Time – 40 hours per

Spring Northumberland Heath is a warm, welcoming nursery in Erith, providing high quality care and early education for children from six weeks to five years.The nursery offers a family focused environment where children are encouraged to play, explore and learn through natural resources and free flow play.
