Job summary

Bright Horizons Little DISCoveries Day Nursery & Preschool in Cambridge is seeking an Early Years Practitioner. You will plan and implement engaging activities tailored to each child, fostering development and a safe, supportive learning environment.

The role requires a Full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification and a strong EYFS understanding, with safeguarding knowledge and ability to collaborate with parents and colleagues. 40-hour weeks across 4 or 5 days; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development.
• Provide a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and explore learning.
• Foster a lifelong love of learning and strong early years routines.
