Job summary

Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Watford is seeking an Early Years Practitioner. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment that supports children's development towards EYFS milestones.

The role requires a Full/Level 2 or 3+ Early Years qualification with safeguarding knowledge. You will work closely with colleagues and parents to foster trust and positive partnerships within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Salary – Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our The Park Day Nursery & Preschool!The nursery is situated in Watford in a beautiful converted Victorian house. The 63-place setting has four rooms across three floors. It is very local to the Watford town centre and has great transport links- the Watford metropolitan station is very close by, and Watford Junction is just a 10 minute walk

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.
