Job summary

Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for lunch-cover hours (10am–2pm). Based in Cheshunt, the setting is an Ofsted Good nursery caring for ages 3 months to 5 years. You will plan, implement and reflect on activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment and strong partnerships with families.

The role requires a Full and relevant Level 3 or above EY qualification and a passion for creating fun learning experiences for young children.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years qualification is required.
• EYFS knowledge and safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to build trust with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities aligned to key milestones.
• Maintain a safe environment that fosters learning and expression.
• Collaborate with parents and team to support each child's development.
