Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a private day nursery in Wakefield to hire an Early Years Practitioner. The role supports children aged 6 months to 4 years and requires a caring, flexible approach and a commitment to ongoing training in Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team and have opportunities for CPD courses and progression through TeacherActive's program.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months' experience working within the childcare sector.
• Knowledge or an understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• A willingness to undertake training in areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum.
• An eagerness to learn new skills and develop knowledge of the Early Years sector.
• A caring and positive approach to working with young children.
• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning and development.
