Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner for a fixed-term maternity cover at Corner House Wistaston Nursery, Crewe. The role supports children’s learning and wellbeing in a nurturing setting and offers both full-time and part-time options.

Requirements include Level 2 Early Years qualification, EYFS knowledge, and strong communication and teamwork skills. The employer highlights excellent progression opportunities and DBS registration paid for.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience as an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development and school readiness.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
