Job summary

Nala Recruitment seeks a dedicated Nursery Practitioner in Maidstone to join a welcoming nursery team. You will create a safe, nurturing environment and support children’s learning through engaging activities and positive interactions.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours, school hours option, and a competitive hourly rate up to £13.70, dependent on experience and qualifications. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
• Support learning with age-appropriate activities and positive interactions.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Assist planning and delivery of engaging activities based on children's interests.
• Observe and record progress and contribute to learning journeys.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Support children with personal care needs when required.
• Work as part of a wider nursery team and follow safeguarding requirements.
• Create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
