Job summary

King’s Ely Acremont Nursery (KEAN) seeks a Nursery Practitioner to join a caring, enthusiastic team in a bright setting within the King’s Ely grounds in Ely. The successful candidate will support EYFS delivery and foster strong relationships with children and families, under the guidance of KEAN leadership.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.45am–6.15pm year-round. Initiatives focus on safeguarding, teamwork and delivering high-quality childcare in a cherished school environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with parents for day-to-day care and learning.
• Support safeguarding and health & safety standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Attend staff meetings and events outside nursery hours.
