Job summary

Invested Recruiter Group in London invites a caring Nursery Practitioner to join our Putney nursery. You will provide high-quality care, plan indoor/outdoor activities, and support children’s development in line with EYFS.

This full-time role offers shifts between 7:15am and 6:30pm, with breaks and a weekly pattern; includes a staff bonus, generous annual leave, training, and progression opportunities. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 2 or above in Early Years/Childcare.
• Previous Nursery or Childcare Experience.
• Clear communication and the confidence to build professional relationships with families and colleagues.
• Reliability, good judgement and a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
• Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.
• Warm, caring and nurturing in their approach.
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
• Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging indoor and outdoor activities based on children’s interests, ages and development.
• Observe, assess and plan next steps in line with the EYFS.
• Maintain accurate records and learning journeys for key children.
• Provide high-quality care, including feeding, mealtimes, nappy changing and personal care.
• Follow safeguarding, health, hygiene and safety procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately.
• Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers, sharing children’s progress and supporting settling‑in.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting the wider nursery team when required.
