Job description

We are seeking qualified educators/practitioners to join our team at Dots & Tots Nursery in Leicester. Due to high enrollment of children aged 1 to 3 years, we are expanding our team to maintain our high standards of care and education.

Salary: Dependent on qualification and experience but above NMW/NLW.

Our nurseries are well-regarded, having received a 'good' rating in all areas during our last inspections. We are looking for someone with a mature attitude, focused on delivering excellent standards, and capable of working well within a team.

We offer onboarding training including:

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Ideal candidates will demonstrate responsibility, flexibility, and initiative. They should have a warm, friendly demeanor that makes every child feel special, and a playful, quirky personality that engages children creatively.

Key qualities include:

• Comfort with humor and fun, including singing out of tune
• Ability to communicate openly about bodily functions
• Strong observational skills, including rapid headcounts
• Willingness to engage in playful activities like role-playing pirates or pretend eating
• Comfortable handling messy situations and unknown substances on clothing
• Capacity for reading stories with interruptions and engaging children in imaginative play
• Ability to provide warm hugs and foster a loving environment
