Job description

We are in search of qualified educators/practitioners to join our team.

With extremely high numbers of 1, 2 & 3 year olds currently seeking a place and enrolling at our Nursery, we are continuing our search for a dedicated and passionate individual to start with us.

Salary: Dependent on qualification and experience but above NMW/NLW.

Our nurseries have good reputations, and we aim to maintain the high standards that earned us a 'good' rating in all areas during our last inspections.

You will be someone who demonstrates a mature attitude and who is focused on delivering excellent standards with a natural ability to work as part of a team.

We will provide the following onboarding training:

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Paediatric First Aid certificate

We are looking for someone responsible, flexible, and able to use their own initiative.

You must have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special.

You should be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand or don't find funny! Having a bit of quirkiness is a plus. If a child requests you to be a pirate captain, be the best pirate captain you can be!

You must be comfortable announcing when you are going to the toilet in the same room as children.

Ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential, while singing in tune is not necessary.

You should be able to give warm hugs as needed.

Skills in rapidly counting the heads of numerous small children are crucial.

You must be comfortable with entering public places after work, possibly with unknown substances on your clothing.

Comfort discussing bodily functions and a good sense of smell are important for responding appropriately.

You should enjoy engaging in imaginative play, like pretending to eat playdough or drinking pretend tea.

Ability to read a ten-page fairy tale with interruptions is required.

Be prepared to have lots of fun and engage in laughter throughout your workday.

Finally, you should feel loved, valued, and important to the children and families you serve.

Company Description:

We have two settings in the LE3 & LE4 areas of Leicester. We are small, homely, but very busy.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
