The Formative Few is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for an independent Ofsted Outstanding nursery in Walthamstow, London. This is a full-time, all-year role at 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £27,000–£30,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

You will work within a supportive team, providing a safe, caring and engaging environment where children can learn, play and develop in line with the EYFS. A proactive, flexible and dependable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ EY qualification or higher.
• Experience in Early Years or nursery settings.
• Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Engage with children to support learning and development.
• Plan and deliver activities based on individual interests and needs.
• Work in line with EYFS and nursery policies.
• Build secure relationships with key children and families.
• Maintain accurate learning records and observations.
• Promote children's independence, wellbeing and safety.
• Attend training and nursery events as required.
• Collaborate with the wider nursery team.
