Salary: Starting from £28,274.40 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We are seeking a full-time, Level 2/3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Oak Lane Day Nursery and Preschool, rated Good by Ofsted, located in Twickenham.

We are recruiting candidates for part-time afternoon shifts from 1pm-6pm or 1.30pm-6.30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's development milestones.
  • Observe, track, and reflect on learning progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers.
  • Ensure child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding policies are strictly followed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, safe, and happy environment daily.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Level 2/3 or higher Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Previous experience with children, such as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Educator, or Assistant.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging.
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults.
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements.
