Job summary

Academics is seeking dedicated Early Years Practitioners to work across partnership nurseries and mainstream primary schools in Stafford. This flexible, temporary role offers varied experience, work-life balance, and opportunities for those returning to the workforce on a full or part-time basis.

You will deliver EYFS-appropriate lessons, maintain a safe, nurturing environment, and support early literacy, numeracy, and personal development while promoting independence and positive behavior.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• A good level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or Grade C and above/Functional Skills Level 2).
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or primary school setting (in the UK).
• Be happy to travel and to be able to get to Stafford partnership nurseries and primary schools by 8.30am with sometimes only 30-60 minute's notice for on the day supply requirements.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Paediatric First Aid (or to be willing to work towards).

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available
