Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in South East London for an Early Years Practitioner to join their EYFS team.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities, support children's development, work with teachers, and help create a safe, caring learning environment. Level 2/3 childcare qualification desirable; previous EYFS experience preferred.

The Role

Support children's learning and development within an Early Years setting.

Plan and deliver fun, creative and engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.

Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills.

Support pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.

Work closely with class teachers and other practitioners to provide high-quality care and education.

Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.

Observe and monitor children's progress and development.

What We're Looking For

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (desirable).

Previous experience working within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting.

A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive!
