Herringthorpe Infant School in Rotherham is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a part-time role (30 hours/week, term-time only) starting ASAP. Salary is Band D (£26,847 - £27,274 pro rata).

Closing date 7 October 2026; interview 19 October 2026; temp contract until 31 August 2027. The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Child Care, have high expectations, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to professional development.

Temporary post to work in our Foundation Stage Unit.

Salary: Band D £26,847 - £27,274 pro rata

Hours: To start ASAP, 30 hours per week, term time only until the 31 st August 2027.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner who is committed to working in partnership with the pupils, staff, and parents/carers and will continue to build upon the excellent progress the school has already made.

The successful candidate will:
