Job summary

UCM Education is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a full-time position in Richmond. You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework, planning activities and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification and prior nursery experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support children’s growth and wellbeing and to foster positive relationships with families.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery setting in Richmond.

This is a full-time, permanent role within a supportive early years environment that is committed to delivering high-quality childcare and education in line with the EYFS framework.

You will be:

• Providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS


• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play


• Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children


• Supporting childrens' individual development, learning and wellbeing


• Acting as a key person and developing positive relationships with children and their families


• Completing observations and assessments to monitor and support childrens' progress


• Promoting high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and inclusive practice


• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistently high standards of care


• Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery and contributing to a positive team environment

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.

You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development, with excellent communication and teamwork skills and a genuine passion for supporting young children to thrive.
