Job opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner in Harrow

This diverse and vibrant nursery in Harrow has a new opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to start a new role as soon as possible. The position is full‑time Monday to Friday on a permanent basis.

To be considered, you must hold a relevant qualification in Childcare or Early Years and have prior experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.

Located in Harrow, the nursery offers excellent public transportation links, parking, an enclosed garden play area, a sensory room and a dedicated library.

The role will be supported by a friendly and caring management team committed to staff development and growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities to stimulate children's minds, creativity, and imagination based on the Early Years curriculum.
• Encourage interactive, play‑based activities and exploration to promote learning and development.
• Form and maintain positive relationships with children and their families.
• Build a safe and stimulating learning environment where every child is supported and able to grow and thrive.
• Show a real passion for childcare and for the EYFS.
• Have an extensive knowledge of safeguarding.
• Follow the EYFS curriculum to assist with early reading and early maths skills development.
• Support children's personal, social, and emotional development from a young age.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Childcare or Early Years and prior experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
