Job summary

Pumpkin Recruitment Ltd in Greater London is seeking a committed Early Years Practitioner for a full-time, term-time role with 12 weeks paid holidays. The position requires solid EYFS knowledge and solid childcare qualifications.

You will plan and deliver creative activities, support children's development, observe progress, and ensure safeguarding. A BA in Early Years Education or CACHE/NVQ/BTEC qualifications are required, with QTS or Montessori qualifications as alternatives.

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent in Early Years Education or related field.
• Alternative qualifications: CACHE Level 2/3, BTEC, NVQ Level 2/3 in childcare and early years.
• QTS or Montessori credentials welcome as alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement creative and learning activities for children in line with the EYFS.
• Support children's learning and development, carry out observations, and engage in play.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.

Job description

Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a full time and permanent term time only, 12 weeks paid holidays Early Years Practitioner to work with our children.

Someone who is passionate about working with children and holds BA in Early Years Education from UK or Overseas University .

Or alternatively CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma, BTEC, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in childcare and early years education. QTS , Qualified teaching status or Montessori Teaching qualification .

Starting Salary: £27,000pa - £28,000pa + 12 Weeks Paid hoidays,excellent Benefits such as Paid Holidays, Further training and Career Progression opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities include planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with the EYFS, Early Years Foundations Stages. Supporting children's learning and development, carrying out observations, playing games with children and ensuring safety and well being of them.
