Job summary

Pumpkin Recruitment Ltd in City of London is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner for a full-time, term-time only role. You will plan and implement creative learning activities for children in line with the EYFS framework and support their development.

The ideal candidate holds a BA in Early Years Education or a CACHE/BTEC/NVQ in childcare, with QTS or Montessori qualification as a plus. You will contribute to a safe, engaging environment and participate in observations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• UK or overseas university qualifications accepted.
• CACHE Level 2/3 Diploma or BTEC/NVQ Level 2/3 in childcare.
• QTS or Montessori teaching qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement creative and learning activities for children in line with EYFS.
• Support children's learning and development and carry out observations.
• Play activities with children and ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Job description

Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a full time and permanent term time only, 12 weeks paid holidays Early Years Practitioner to work with our children.

Someone who is passionate about working with children and holds BA in Early Years Education from UK or Overseas University .

Or alternatively CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma, BTEC, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in childcare and early years education. QTS , Qualified teaching status or Montessori Teaching qualification .

Starting Salary: 27,000pa - 28,000pa + 12 Weeks Paid hoidays,excellent Benefits such as Paid Holidays, Further training and Career Progression opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities include planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with the EYFS, Early Years Foundations Stages. Supporting children's learning and development, carrying out observations, playing games with children and ensuring safety and well being of them.
