Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a Brackley-based primary school. You will support learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage, deliver play-based activities, and work with teachers to nurture children's development.

The role is full-time, immediate start, long-term with potential for a permanent appointment. You will join a caring team in a nurturing environment with access to training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Early Years qualification such as Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent.
• Experience working in a nursery, preschool, Reception, or EYFS setting.
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Take a caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Deliver engaging, creative, play-based activities that encourage curiosity and exploration.
• Promote children's communication, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Observe and record children's progress in line with EYFS guidance.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support children with additional needs where appropriate.
• Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team to support pupil development.

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner who enjoys helping young children learn, develop, and build confidence?

We are working in partnership with a supportive primary school in Brackley that is looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and wants to play an important role in creating a positive start to children's education.

The school provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, communicate, develop independence, and learn through purposeful play. You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff as part of a dedicated Early Years team.

The Role

About You

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
