Job summary

Bright Horizons Barrow is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for our Barrow nursery near Barrow-in-Furness train station. The role offers a salary of £29,203.20 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience, with an OFSTED Good rating reflecting strong standards.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child, ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment and supporting development toward EYFS milestones.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Barrow Salary – £29,203.20 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience) Location – Barrow General Hospital, Barrow

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Barrow nursery. The nursery is OFSTED rated Good and is close to Barrow In Furness train station.

Shift options: 40 hours over 5 days *Subject to T&Cs

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
