Job summary

Bright Horizons Countess of Chester nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover, 15-20 hours per week at Countess of Cheshire Health Park in Cheshire CH2 1UL. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, create a safe, inclusive learning environment and support children's development toward key milestones with EYFS best practices.

The role requires a Level 3+ Early Years qualification, a genuine passion for playful learning, safeguarding knowledge and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

Job description

Nursery – Bright Horizons Countess of Chester. Salary – £13.50 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience). Location – Countess of Cheshire Health Park, Cheshire CH2 1UL. We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner – Lunch Cover for 15-20 hours per week to join our Countess of Cheshire Nursery.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
