Job summary

Bury Council is seeking Parenting Practitioners to coordinate and deliver a full spectrum of early parenting programmes for children aged 0-5 across the borough. You will work with partner agencies, screen referrals, and arrange delivery through trained practitioners in both 1-1 and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and screen requests for parenting support and identify appropriate programmes for families.
• Facilitate group parenting sessions and coordinate practitioners to deliver both 1-1 and group support.
• Maintain a rolling and robust programme of parenting courses, both in person and virtual.
• Evaluate programme outcomes and respond to local need with targeted workshops as required.
