Job summary

Destination Education collaborates with welcoming primary schools and early years settings across London and surrounding areas to place dedicated Nursery Practitioners. We seek individuals who are passionate about early years education and who enjoy supporting children's development through engaging activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate and has experience in nursery/early years or primary settings.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in nursery/early years or primary settings.
• Passionate about Early Years education and child development.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of children in nursery/early years.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment.
• Support children's communication, social, emotional and physical development.
• Observe and monitor children's progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and the wider early years team.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
• Maintain strong relationships with children, staff and, where appropriate, parents.
