Job summary

You will deliver play-based activities supporting early literacy and numeracy, and work closely with parents and professionals to support each child’s development. You will work with the Nursery Manager to maintain high standards of care, plan developmentally appropriate activities, and promote safeguarding and welfare for all

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating EYFS environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Deliver play-based EYFS curriculum to enable individual progress.
• Work with parents and professionals for the benefit of children.
• Support safeguarding and promote welfare of all children.
• Plan and implement activities to support children's learning, play and social development.
• Maintain daily routines and ensure the environment is clean, safe and secure.
• Record keeping on child development in line with nursery policies.
• Liaise with parents and encourage involvement in nursery aims.
