Job summary

Caldmore Primary Academy is inviting applications for four Fixed Term Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in our Early Years class. You will support pupils to access learning, promote independence and inclusion, and contribute to a positive, nurturing environment.

The role requires GCSEs including English and Maths, and an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent, with First Aid training or willingness to undertake.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support Early Years pupils individually or in groups to access the curriculum.
• Promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
• Assist class teachers to raise learning and attainment across the year group.
