Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support Early Years in welcoming primary schools across Bedfordshire. You will assist with engaging activities, small-group support, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have a Level 3 TA qualification and recent Early Years experience, with strong communication and safeguarding commitments. Flexible supply roles offer exposure to multiple schools and supportive guidance from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Recent experience in an Early Years setting in a primary school.
• Confident supporting learning and development through play-based and structured activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
• Assist with observations, assessments, and classroom preparation where required.
