An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Learning Mentor to join their Early Years Department. This part-time role focuses on nurturing children aged 3-6, fostering a love for learning while ensuring their well-being. You will work closely with lead practitioners, supporting all children, including those with special educational needs. Ideal candidates will possess a Level 2 Early Years Qualification and demonstrate a warm personality, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing training. We are delighted to be recruiting for a Learning Mentor to work within our Early Years Department. Working alongside and supporting the Lead practitioners, you will be caring for children aged 3-6 years, supporting their wellbeing, and helping them to embrace a lifelong love of learning. You will contribute to providing rich and varied experiences through the Early Years Foundation Stage and Waldorf Early Childhood curricula.
You will work both within our main kindergartens and our inclusion hub, supporting all children, including those with additional and special educational needs. Additional intimate care is required for some children. This is a part-time, mornings-only role.
Alongside a warm, caring personality, a sense of humour, and flexibility across the department, the successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to train, update skills and knowledge as required, and have a proven track record of working successfully within a team, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
