Job summary

Avanti Schools Trust is hiring a Learning Coach for our Nursery at Krishna Avanti Primary School Croydon. You will support teaching, deliver targeted interventions, and help pupils access a broad curriculum for 3–4 year-olds. You will work closely with teachers to promote inclusive education and strong pupil development.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, a supportive values-led environment, and opportunities for professional development. Interviews anticipated in October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist class teachers and school leaders in ensuring the very best learning experience for children and young people in our trust schools
• Build strong relationships with pupils, adapting approaches to meet individual needs, including those with SEND or English as an additional language
• Work collaboratively with teachers, leaders and external professionals to deliver targeted interventions and contribute to pupil progress and wellbeing
• Promote positive behaviour, social and emotional development, and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
• Engage with families, contribute to the wider school community, and take an active role in ongoing professional development.
