Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in London is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Lead to join our Belmont provision. You will lead a small team, plan activities and ensure safeguarding, creating a safe, welcoming environment for young learners to flourish.

The role offers a supportive team, opportunities for training and a focus on children's development and wellbeing within our EYFS setting.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is required.
• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting is essential.
• Experience within nursery, childcare, early years or education is desirable.
• Previous experience leading or supporting an early years team is advantageous.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding checks and required training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of high-quality early years provision.
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for young children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
• Encourage learning through play, creativity, exploration and physical activity.
• Support children's individual development, interests and needs.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Promote children's independence, confidence and social development.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection standards are maintained.
• Maintain records, registers and relevant documentation.
