Job summary

West Lothian Council is seeking an enthusiastic ELC practitioner to provide short-term support across council early learning and childcare settings. The role is 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, fixed term until 11th April 2027.

Applicants must hold full registration with the Scottish Social Services Council as a practitioner and may need PVG scheme checks. The successful candidate will join the central Early Years Team and support service delivery across settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold full registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a practitioner.
• Subject to PVG scheme membership or update as required.
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom and willing to join West Lothian Council records.

Responsibilities
