Job summary

Storal Chesterfield Nursery is seeking a dedicated Early Years practitioner to plan engaging activities, observe progress and provide high-quality personal care in a warm, play-based setting. You will implement the Storal curriculum daily and support children's learning through meaningful interactions.

Applicants should hold a Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (or higher) and have experience across Early Years ages; EYFS knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with all age groups in Early Years settings.
• Ability to observe progress and plan developmentally appropriate activities.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and deliver the Storal curriculum.
• Observe progress and document development.
• Manage personal care in line with safeguarding and policies.
• Engage families to support children’s learning and well-being.

Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time and part time hours available
Salary: £12.90 to £13.30 per hour Salary will depend on qualification and experience

Qualification - Must hold a Level 2 or above in Childcare

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments. You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
