MiChild Group is seeking an Early Years Educator for Teddies Day Nursery, located on the Royal Oldham Hospital Grounds. The role offers a competitive hourly salary (£13.25p/h) and requires a UK Level 3 Early Years qualification with strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding experience.

We operate rotating early and late shifts to cover full days. Benefits include substantial childcare fee support, extensive annual leave, staff meals, and ongoing development opportunities within MiChild Learning hub.

About MiChild at Teddies Day Nursery

Teddies Day Nursery, proudly rated "Good" by Ofsted, has a capacity of 56 children and has been part of the MiChild family since March 2020. Nestled within the Royal Oldham Hospital grounds, we serve both NHS and local families with dedication and warmth. Our nursery boasts four spacious, light-filled playrooms and a large enclosed outdoor area that inspires imaginative exploration, independence, and safe risk-taking. We champion the belief that there's no such thing as bad weather- only unsuitable clothing!

What We're Looking For:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*
• A strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Demonstrated, robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
• Previous experience of working in a nursery environment or with children aged 0-5 years
• Excellent communication skills, able to rapidly build relationships with children, parents and the nursery team
• Flexible, adaptable and passionate about inspiring little minds

Shift Patterns:

This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.

• Early Shift: 7.00am - 4.00pm
• Late Shift: 8.30am-6.00pm

*If you're not yet Level 3 qualified, we may have alternative roles to support your development.
