West Huntspill Primary School in Highbridge, Somerset, is seeking a Preschool Practitioner to join the Early Years team. You will support learning and development through engaging activities and warm, nurturing care for children and families.

The role involves planning with the Preschool Manager, monitoring progress, and ensuring OFSTED and safety standards are met. Part-time, term-time plus INSET days with a welcoming long-term team environment.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge and child development understanding.
• Safeguarding procedures and health & safety compliance.
• Experience in childcare or education settings.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning activities and participate in community events.
• Monitor and evaluate children’s progress; maintain accurate records/reports.
• Collaborate with EYFS team, volunteers and external partners to support families.
• Ensure the setting complies with OFSTED regulations and health & safety policies.
• Maintain resources and equipment for safe, smooth operations.

Early Years qualification (Level 3 or higher)
