Nursery: Hemsley House Nursery School, Maidstone, Kent, ME16

Hours: Part Time, 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday (11.30am-2.30pm)

Salary: £12.21 - £13.05 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About you

You are a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar who enjoys supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children. You were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations.

You have a natural, nurturing, open, warm, and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.

What you'll be doing

You will start most days with a fully formulated plan, which may be derailed, requiring you to pivot as circumstances call for. Creativity is key. You’ll engage in hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. Keeping activities fresh and engaging within EYFS standards is essential, but your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning are equally important.

What you'll need

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years. We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators if they demonstrate the necessary qualities, values, and enthusiasm. If you think you’ve got the right attitude and abilities, apply—nothing ventured, nothing gained!
• Experience as an Early Years Educator or having worked with children under 5 is advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness, and teamwork.
