Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Childhood Educator to join Ark Start St Clement. You will provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care, ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and safety of children. You will foster an enabling environment for children to play, learn, and develop, including outdoor and creative activities beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a group of key children, including observations, assessments, and parent relationships.
• Implement the Ark Start curriculum.
• Ensure high-quality interactions with children and create a supportive environment for progress.
• Maintain a safe nursery environment following safeguarding policies.
• Keep child records up to date and communicate with parents and staff.
• Promote high standards in line with Ark Start's code of conduct.

Key Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Awareness of safeguarding and child welfare concerns.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Reflective practice and commitment to continuous improvement.
