MiChild Group is hiring an Early Years Educator to cover lunch breaks at Little Angels Nursery in Blackpool. You will support children aged under 5 during lunch and related activities, aligning with EYFS principles and safeguarding requirements.

The role requires Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualifications and a commitment to regular lunch cover from 11:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday. MiChild offers competitive pay and nursery benefits in a friendly environment.

About MiChild at Little Angels Nursery

Little Angels Nursery, proudly rated as “Good” by Ofsted, and has been part of the MiChild Family since 2020. We are located in Blackpool, near Stanley School and Stanley Park.

Our nursery features two key rooms an under twos unit, and our two to four years unit. There are so many benefits of our over 2 unit and our younger children benefit from the learning opportunities they encounter with their older peers and has helped to progress the children’s social and communication development. Our older children in the unit have also become more independent, preparing them for their next transition in life; such as transitioning to Primary School.

Little Angels Nursery is conveniently situated off Preston New Road. Within a short distance, you can easily access Morrisons daily shop, as well as some many outlets including a McDonalds, KFC and Subway.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally hold a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification or a Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development; play a vital part in nurturing and inspiring little minds
• Demonstrate robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
• Confident communicator, proactive in approach and passionate about providing outstanding care and support to children
• Support the team with a range of day-to-day tasks, be adaptable to the changing needs of the nursery day
• Uphold our curriculum and our early years principles
• Able to commit to daily (Monday to Friday) lunch cover from 10.30am to 2pm- all year round
