Job summary

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or Childcare is essential.
• Prior experience with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting is needed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting key children and observing their progress and development.
• Communicating with other team members and parents/guardians.
• Carrying out risk assessments throughout the day.
• Creating a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children.
• Assisting children with early reading and early maths skills.
• Supporting children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in running activities and organising the room.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
