Job summary

Tom Thumb nursery is offering an Apprenticeship in Early Years Educator (Level 3) in a purpose-built childcare setting. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment and delivering activities aligned with the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partaking in a range of indoor and outdoor activities with children 0–5 years.
• Supporting children with self-care needs such as feeding and personal hygiene.
• Communicating with team members and parents to ensure consistency.
• Working in a childcare setting with children aged 0–5 years.
• Liaising with external customers and parents to provide high-level childcare service.

Job description

Introduction

Working in a childcare setting with children ages 0-5 years, you will be working towards Advanced Diploma Early Years. This requires dedication, commitment & punctuality to be successful. Duties will include, but not be limited to, creating a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children, teaching within the EYFS requirements, etc.

Established in 1983, Tom Thumb nursery is purpose built on one level with outdoor play facilities. There are 3 playrooms and the layout permits constant supervision of all the children. We believe children are individuals. We talk to the children and listen to them, making them feel important and that what they say is interesting. We offer a warm caring and secure environment within which children are able to explore, learn and develop at their own pace. We ensure that the individual needs of the children are met, effectively promoting their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. What You'll Do
