Overview of role:
To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 3-4 years. To ensure that the reception class is a safe environment for children, staff and others. To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.

- Qualification: Level 2/3 Early Years
- Duration of course: 19 months
- Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK!)
- All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside placement at school.
Full Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area in conjunction with other staff
- Record accidents in the accident book
- Ensure each child is collected by someone known to the setting
- To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring Setting policies and procedures are observed at all times
- To develop your role within the team especially with regard as a key worker
- Support all staff and engage in a good staff team

- Can solve problems and can exercise initiative and independent action
- Is pro-active in offering ideas
- To work with colleagues in providing for the intellectual, physical, social, personal intimate and emotional needs of the children
Qualifications Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) English (Grade 4) essential
- GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) Maths (Grade 4) essential
