Job summary

Future Champions Day Nursery Chorley (Bright Stars) is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice with a genuine passion for working with children and a desire to complete a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship.

As a Nursery Apprentice you will work as part of a friendly, supportive team, playing an active role in children’s learning and development, supporting planning, observations, assessments, safeguarding, and creating a safe, engaging EYFS environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key person for a group of children
• Supporting planning, observations, and assessments
• Ensuring the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children at all times

• Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
