Job summary

Future Champions Children's Nursery seeks a warm Nursery Apprentice to support children’s learning and development. You will work as part of a friendly team and contribute to planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework.

The role offers an apprenticeship with Level 3 Early Years education, on-site working hours in Chorley, and a strong focus on safeguarding and developing key skills for a future in early years work.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or working towards functional skills.
• Some experience with babies or children under five.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key person for a group of children.
• Support planning, observations and assessments.
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all children.
• Create a safe, stimulating EYFS learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
