Job Opportunity: Early Years Educator

We are seeking qualified educators/practitioners to join our dedicated team at Dots & Tots Nursery, located in Leicester. Due to high demand, especially among 1, 2, & 3-year-olds, we are expanding our team to maintain our high standards of care and education.

Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience, above NMW/NLW, negotiable based on experience.

Our nurseries have a strong reputation for quality, and we aim to uphold the excellent standards recognized in our recent inspections.

Ideal Candidate: Demonstrates a mature attitude, focused on delivering excellent care, with a natural ability to work collaboratively within a team. You should have a warm, friendly demeanor, a sense of fun and quirkiness, and be comfortable engaging with children and families.

We provide onboarding training including:

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate

We are looking for someone responsible, flexible, and proactive, with a sense of initiative.

Personality and Skills:

• A warm, smiling face that makes children feel special
• Comfortable discussing bodily functions and handling various situations with professionalism
• Ability to count children quickly and accurately
• Comfortable in public settings, with a sense of humor, and able to engage in playful activities like singing, storytelling, and role-playing
• Willing to have fun and create a joyful environment

Location: Leicester (LE3 & LE4 areas). We are a small, homely, yet busy nursery.
