Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Bristol is seeking an Early Years Educator - 1:1 SEN Support to join a welcoming early years setting.

You will provide dedicated one-to-one support for a child with SEN, work with the team to implement tailored plans, and help the child access learning and develop communication and social skills.

A DBS update service, right to work in the UK, and a proactive, caring approach are required; the role offers a competitive daily rate and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years or SEN setting.
  • Knowledge of EYFS and child development principles is desirable.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs, including ASD, speech and language needs, or developmental delays, is advantageous.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • Right to work in the UK.

About the Role

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting an Early Years Educator - 1:1 SEN Support to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting in Bristol.

This rewarding role involves providing dedicated one-to-one support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning opportunities, develop key social and communication skills, and thrive within an inclusive nursery environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider early years team to deliver tailored support, ensuring the child receives the encouragement and structure needed to achieve their full potential.
