Job summary

Storal Woodville Nursery in Woodville, Swadlincote area is seeking a caring practitioner to support children's development through the Storal curriculum. This full-time, term-time only role covers 32.5 hours per week and offers a friendly, safeguarding-focused setting where play-based learning and family partnerships are core.

You will plan activities, monitor progress across age groups, and provide high levels of care and empathy.

Qualifications

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3.
• Experience with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy principles daily.
• Engage with children and families to create meaningful learning moments.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
