Overview

Job Title: Early Years Educator x 2. Type of Agreement: Permanent. Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Monday 8:15–16:45; Tuesday–Friday 8:15–16:00). Closing Date: Monday 6 October – Noon. Shortlisting: Monday 6 October – afternoon. Interviews: Friday 10 October 2025, face to face at Atherstone Nursery School. Start: ASAP, with consideration for a January 2026 start.

About the role

Atherstone and Bedworth Heath Maintained Nursery School Federation Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator who will share our vision for providing outstanding teaching and learning opportunities to our nursery community and offering outstanding parent/carer family support. We offer outstanding Early Years CPD, a supportive and experienced staff team and an ethos that values staff wellbeing. This is a new role within our Atherstone Nursery School Team as we grow the levels of staffing within our Nursery.

Responsibilities
  • Share our vision for outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for the nursery community.
  • Provide outstanding parent/carer family support.
  • Work across two nursery environments for 2–4 year olds as part of a team of educators.
  • Contribute to an ethos that values staff wellbeing and professional development.
Key requirements
  • Experienced Early Years Educator who wants to continue to develop skills and make a difference within the school community.
  • Relevant qualification: Level 3 childcare qualification.

  • Pattern: Monday 8:15–16:45 and Tuesday–Friday 8:15–16:00; part-time applications considered.
