About The Role

We’re looking for passionate people to join our Butlin’s Team as an Early Years Educator.

Working alongside a fantastic team, we will support you every step of the way to ensure you gain the skills and confidence to truly get stuck in.

As an Early Years Educator, you will provide an exciting and wide activity programme, assist in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment, and ensure all aspects of each individual child’s development are given full consideration. You will also be responsible for maintaining clean and hygienic standards at all times.

This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days.

About You

Being a great team player is essential, and you should enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be open to trying new things and engaging with lots of different people.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and following all Health and Safety policies and procedures, proactively participating in activity planning, child observation, and development records, maintaining confidentiality regarding children, their families, and the business, and supporting daily routines of children.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare with a good knowledge of the EYFS.
• Holding Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 is an advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• A problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work on own initiative as necessary, and as part of a team both large and small.
• Ability to relate to a wide range of people.
• Holding a Paediatric First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
