Job description

A diverse and friendly nursery in Kingston is now looking for a caring and passionate Early Years Educator to join the dedicated team of staff, to start as soon as possible.

A Level 2 or above Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Years Educator position.

The suitable Early Years Educator will:

  • Assist children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development
  • Create an environment that is language rich and and supportive
  • Have good knowledge of early childhood development
  • Lead and encourage interactive play and learning sessions, following the EYFS curriculum
  • Support personal, social and emotional development
  • Encourage child led activities that are stimulating for their imagination and creativity
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and support the nursery management team
  • Carry out observations and assess key children's progress and development

This is a permanent full time Early Years Educator position to work 37-40 hours a week in an outstanding Kingston nursery where every member of staff is supported and valued, as shown through the bonuses paid throughout the year.
