A local nursery in Thames Ditton is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to foster a fun and educational environment for children aged 0-5. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join this wonderful nursery located in Thames Ditton.

Salary would be £24k-£27k per annum, 37-40 hours per week, and this is a permanent position.

This is a wonderful nursery that has a family‑feel atmosphere and acts as a home away from home for children, with dedicated rooms, sensory play areas and a private outdoor garden, making it a great place for any passionate Early Years Educator to work!

Responsibilities
  • Providing a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children
  • Using the EYFS curriculum to plan lessons and activities that are engaging and stimulating for children's imagination
  • Communicating with other team members and parents
  • Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0 – 5
  • Assisting children with development of early reading and early maths skills
  • Encouraging development through play, exploration and child‑led learning
  • Providing general care and support for children in the nursery
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress

For this Early Years Educator role, a Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential, and prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
